Rome called this Humanitas: wholeness, not hygiene. Body, mind, conversation, decisions, held in one place. Nobody went for an hour. People stayed, because staying was the point — senators argued policy in the caldarium, philosophers debated beside the pool. The building held the whole day, not a single procedure.
We call it Neo-Humanitas — the same idea, running on longevity science instead of guesswork. Contrast therapy where the frigidarium once stood. Recovery protocols where the aqueduct once ran. Every zone still built around one day, not one visit — because the body doesn't repair itself in an hour, and neither did Rome ever ask it to.

Most wellness facilities are built around a single visit — one hour, one procedure. THERMA is designed around an entire day. The logic is circular: the plan draws guests forward continuously, heat to cold, recovery to focused work, solitude to conversation. There's no moment where the space asks them to leave.

THERMA moves from aesthetics to biology one zone at a time — each room built around a measurable outcome, not a mood. Every space still carries a Latin name, the same way Rome named its own: function turned into ritualt. Seven zones make up the sequence — Atrium, the social core the whole plan circulates around; Frigus, cold immersion made visible, not hidden; Corpus, where a robotic system reads the body in real time; Solarium, running five recovery protocols in one session; Vena, IV recovery in the open, not behind a door; Caldarium, heat paired deliberately with cold; and Apodyterium, where the ritual begins and ends.
